Aisha Jaffar is a mixed media astronomical artist, based in Dubai and Toronto. While her primary medium is paint, she plays with different materials like resin and clay, makes sculptures and three dimensional works. Her thesis, Star Dust, is rooted in the Overview Effect. Using visuals of outer space and playing with scale, her works ignite feelings of gratitude over simply existing, and reflection on the human experience.
